Capture express and implied meaning
Review headlines, bullets, icons, imagery and comparisons together. A page can imply performance, authorization, safety or origin even when those words never appear in one sentence.
Evidence before copy
Product content becomes risky when a true statement about one sample, component or report expands into a claim about every unit. A claim matrix makes the exact sentence, evidence and limits visible before publication.
Direct answer
List every objective claim proposed for the product page, image, packaging or sales message. For each one, record the exact model and version, evidence source, issuing party, date, test or observation scope, destination limits, qualifications, public wording and approver. Publish only when the evidence matches the product and the wording. Remove or narrow claims that depend on a different model, incomplete document, unverifiable marketplace text or an unsupported inference.
Use this before requesting a quotation
Review headlines, bullets, icons, imagery and comparisons together. A page can imply performance, authorization, safety or origin even when those words never appear in one sentence.
Connect evidence to model, version, component, firmware, batch or tested sample. A report with a similar product name does not automatically support the listed item.
Record supplier declaration, specification, test report, certificate, measurement, photograph, contract or owner statement. Note who issued it and whether the complete document is available.
Identify what was tested or verified, method, date, result and exclusions. Do not turn a component report into whole-product compliance or a platform authorization into brand authorization.
Claims and required evidence can vary by destination and product category. Route safety, health, environmental, origin and regulated claims to qualified review before publication.
Use wording no broader than the evidence. Add necessary conditions near the claim. If the limitation makes the statement meaningless, hold the claim rather than hiding it in a distant disclaimer.
Record approval date, owner and expiry or review trigger. Reopen the claim when model, supplier, report, production site, firmware, packaging or law changes.

Before you send the request
Objective express and implied claims need an adequate basis. Performance, safety, origin, environmental, certification and comparison claims often require particularly careful review.
It may be one input, but adequacy depends on the claim, product, source and risk. Record its scope and obtain stronger evidence when the statement cannot support the public meaning.
Usually it identifies a tested sample and stated scope. Do not automatically extend that result to every future unit, model or market without appropriate production and compliance controls.
A disclaimer cannot reliably cure a headline or overall impression that the evidence does not support. Narrow or remove the claim and obtain qualified advice where needed.
Keep the request specific
Evidence must fit the exact message a reasonable buyer can take from the page. This matrix is an editorial control, not legal advice or a substitute for product-specific compliance review.

The matrix converts the FTC reasonable-basis principle and Google's visible, accurate product-data requirements into a model-level editorial review. It does not decide jurisdiction-specific legal sufficiency.
